Refund Policy
At Desi Nakhra, we want you to love your ethnic ensemble. If you are not completely satisfied, we are here to help. Our refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and in compliance with Indian E-commerce consumer protection standards.
1. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return or refund, please ensure that:
Timeframe: The return is initiated within 7 days of delivery.
Condition: The item is unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition.
Packaging: All original tags, labels, and packaging (including dust bags) must be intact.
Proof of Purchase: You have the original invoice or order confirmation.
2. Non-Refundable Items
Due to the intricate and personalized nature of ethnic wear, the following are not eligible for refunds:
Customized/Altered Items: Any garment stitched to your measurements or altered at your request.
Final Sale/Clearance: Items purchased during "Final Sale" or "End of Season" events.
Accessories: Jewelry, potli bags, or hair accessories (for hygiene reasons).
International Orders: Currently, we only offer refunds/returns for orders within India.
3. The Refund Process
Once we receive your returned item, it will undergo a Quality Check (QC).
Approval: If the QC is passed, your refund will be initiated within 48 hours.
Method: Refunds are processed back to the original mode of payment (Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or Wallet).
Timeline: Depending on your bank, the amount may take 5–7 business days to reflect in your account.
COD Orders: For Cash on Delivery orders, you will be asked to provide bank details for a secure NEFT transfer.
4. Damaged or Defective Goods
We take pride in our craftsmanship, but if you receive a damaged item:
Note: To protect your claim, we highly recommend recording a 360-degree unboxing video when opening your package. This serves as vital proof for transit-related damages.
Report the damage via email at [Support Email] within 48 hours of delivery.
We will offer a full refund or a free replacement, including all shipping costs.
5. Shipping Charges
Standard Returns: A nominal reverse-shipping fee of ₹99 will be deducted from your refund amount.
Defective Items: Shipping is on us! We will not deduct any fees for damaged or incorrect products.
How to Initiate a Return
Log in to your account on our website.
Go to 'My Orders' and select the item you wish to return.
Choose the reason for return and upload images (if required).
Pack the product securely. Our courier partner will pick it up within 24–48 hours.
